The Homebound Ministry helps connect those unable to attend Mass with the St. Peter of the Fields parish family with visits to homes and hospitals. Communion is brought on a regular basis to those confined to their homes. Visitations and Communion services are held at the area’s nursing and health care facilities. The sick and elderly or their family and friends should call the parish house at 330-325-7543 to arrange a pastoral visit at any time.
This ministry asks its members to keep in prayer various parishioners and their family members in need of healing; be they physical, spiritual or emotional. A prayer list is updated in the parish office monthly and sent to all members. Those who have a specific need that they would like to have remembered in prayer are invited to call Please call Judi Krieger, (330) 325-7613. The Social Justice Ministry deals with issues of charity, equality and justice in our parish, community and world. It is involved in activities such as helping the needy, work at area food banks, the Clothing Center in Ravenna, the Veterans Home in Kent, and the Center of Hope.
