Sacrament of Baptism

Sacrament of Baptism Baptisms are held on the last Sunday of each month. Call the parish office at 330-325-7543 to schedule baptisms. Those wishing to have their babies baptized should be practicing Catholics and registered in the parish for at least four months. We welcome former parishioners or those who live out of town; however, a letter of recommendation is necessary from your parish. Baptisms can be celebrated during Mass, or privately. One Godparent MUST be a practicing Catholic.

First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, Confirmation

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist usually take place in the month of May. Confirmation is held at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Preparation for these sacraments is through our CCD program. For more information, please contact CCD Principal Marge Conroy at (330) 673-7585.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Second and fourth Saturdays of the month at 3:15 pm, until all are heard. Confessions can also be heard by appointment. Communal reconciliation services are celebrated during Advent and Lent. Additional confession times are usually scheduled around Easter and Christmas -- please check the Weekly Bulletin.

Sacraments of Initiation for Adults

Adults considering Baptism, Confirmation, or becoming Catholic should call the parish office at 330-325-7543 for more information about our programs.

Sacrament of Marriage

Those wishing to marry at St. Peter of the Fields should be registered at least four months before the wedding is scheduled. Six months of Sacramental preparation is required. Please contact the office at 330-325-7543 for more information.

Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

The sick and elderly or their family and friends should call the parish house at 330-325-7543 to arrange a pastoral visit at any time.

Sacrament of Holy Orders

Men discerning a vocation to the priesthood or permanent diaconate are invited to contact Fr. Zachary at the parish office, or contact the Diocese of Youngstown Vocation Office at 330-744-8451. Also, the Diocese has a new vacation website:
